Beginning April 13th, all Saturday training sessions will be at the new Athey Creek Middle School football field. Sunday sessions will remain at West Linn HS!
 

Our West Linn coaching staff is thrilled to offer Off Season Football Training in 2024. If your youth football player is experienced or just learning how to play the game, look no further. The High School coaching staff is looking forward to teaching our youth players about the West Linn Lion culture, values, terminology, techniques, and fundamentals. After several months of training, we will put those skills to work as we will compete in some scrimmages (7v7 & 5v5) and local tournaments.

Off Season Position-Specific Skills / Small Group Training

·      All positions offered: DB, DL, LB, OL, RB, WR, QB

·      Focus on basic and advanced skills sets

·      Game situation drills

·      Learn the West Linn system

·      Learn the How and Why of each skill set in our West Linn system

·      Training is offered in 45-minute sessions

Training Schedule (each session - 45 min) January 13th – May 19th

Please pick the dates and times that work best for you.  Our hope is to offer maximum flexibility to accomodate families' schedules and to enable players to work around other sports.

·      Saturdays 10:00am OR 11:00am at Athey Creek MS (beginning April 13th)

·      Sundays    11:00am OR 12:00pm (QB Training is only offered on Sundays at 11am) at West Linn HS

·     Cost $25 per session when registering in advance – 45 min session (15% discount if attending 2x/weekend, or  38 sessions)

• Also $37 charge for uniform and helmet required for 7v7 and 5v5 tournaments

·      Locations: Athey Creek MS (Saturdays beginning April 13th), West Linn High School (Sundays)

·      5th grade – 8th grade (West Linn Youth Only)

·      4- 12 kids per group

·      Drop in option is available.  Each session is $35.  Please bring your player to the field to check in with the coaches. You will be invoiced the Drop In rate of $35.00.

Tournaments

• April – May 7v7 and 5on5 tournaments.   Salem & Portland tournaments
• Dads coach the 7v7 and 5on5 tournaments
